Attorney Kearns and his very competent assistant Keya Smith were a godsend to my family when faced with my brother’s failing health and the need for an estate plan including a Will, Health Care Proxy and most importantly an all-inclusive POA. Then Keya ably guided me through the MassHealth application when he needed nursing home care. Today he is safe and comfortable in a great facility near his home. Attorney Kearns and his staff are extremely competent and knowledgeable. They treat their clients with kindness and respect.

I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Ron and Keya helped us navigate through an emotionally difficult time and successfully enrolled us onto Mass Health. The Senior Resource Center is the best. We would have been lost without them when our father’s health failed. Their team helped get our father’s affairs in order, and when it was necessary for him to transition to a nursing home, they protected his home and assets and got him on MassHealth. Me and my family had a great experience with the Senior Resource Center. We have been working with them since 2011. After my father passed away we knew we had to take the necessary legal steps in making sure my mother who had MS was getting the best care and to be set up so everything was secured for her and my family’s future. I took on the tasks of being my mother’s POA, Trustee, and Healthcare Proxy. This I knew was going to be a large responsibility for me to undertake being I had to now balance things going on in my own personal life and performing these roles, which I did over 10 years. Ron Kearns and the team at SRC guided me very professionally through the challenges that I faced to make sure my mother was getting the best care from her time in home care, at an Assisted Living, and at the Skilled Nursing facility she lived at during her last 6 years.

I am sure there are a lot of people who know that getting on MassHealth is quite a challenge and is a lot of work. I can attest that yes it is a challenge and there is a lot of work. That is where the team at SRC comes in and becomes very valuable asset in helping you face these challenges and get you over the finish line of reaching that goal of being accepted on MassHealth. As I am sure many people do, we did face push back or denials from MH, but SRC always took the time to review the issue and always found another route to take to keep fighting in order to keep the process going. At the end Ron and his team was successful on getting my mother on MassHealth and making sure my mother was provided the care she needed.

The SRC Team always made us feel that they were always there for us to make sure not only for my mother, but my family as well. My mother recently passed away and I still know that Ron and the SRC Team will still be there to answer any questions we may have and guide us in the right direction.

Very caring and human, while also experts at what they do. A rare combination. Went with my wife to see them to talk about her Dad. We left much calmer than we went in, very comfortable with SRC and their plan, and comfortable with our ongoing relationship with them. Highly recommend!

We were introduced to the firm at the lowest point in our lives, desperate for help for our Dad and Mom.
